Final Fantasy X: The Disgraced High Summoner

A/N: This is a story I thought of whilst writing 'Final Fantasy XO: The Fathers Story, I had writers block so I decided to write this down so I don't forget it.

Prologue: How Things Were

Head Mayven Neutro was a respected man in his world, his life, his city, the great city of Zanarkand. Elsewhere, like in Bevelle, this was an entirely different story, this war had raged on between the two great cities for going on 50 years now, and it showed no sign of stopping, this, however was not Neutro's concern, this was second to the incredible threat of Sin.

Sin, the all powerful being of unbelievable cruelty and staggering power, Sin, the one thing that kept Zanarkand and Bevelle from fighting, it brought peace between the cities, but brought chaos in its wake, a living paradox that is far worse than the war, Bevelle and Zanarkand were racing to make a summoner strong enough to defeat it, or, should I say, a summoner smart enough to figure out how to defeat it.

Neutro had been searching for all of his 15 years in office, but still no luck, the Four great warriors, Bahamut, Valefor, Ifrit and Shiva had given themselves to the great Pagoda, but still they are not powerful enough to actually defeat this monster, no other warriors contain enough power to form a strong enough Aeon to even tickle Sin, the normal way of transforming into a fayth isn't enough, it needs something deeper than raw power, there is only one person who has come up with a possible, yet unlikely, way of creating an aeon powerful enough to destroy Sin, but Neutro feared that this approach will only be a temporary measure, there seems to be another living thing within Sin, only the most powerful summoner that ever walked Spira could summon a monstrosity such as Sin, and that is Bevelles most powerful summoner, the legendary Yu Yevon.

The only summoner in Zanarkand who is even close to matching Yu Yevons incredible power is, convienently the sister of the geinius that had come up with the way to defeat Sin. Her name, was Yunalesca, she, and her guardian, Zaeon, are the only ones with a powerful enough spirit, and bond, to form what Yunalseca's sister calls 'The Final Aeon'.

Who is this Genius who came up with the theory of the final Aeon? You may ask, she is a summoner herself, though not as strong as Yunalesca, she too, shares a bond with her guardian, though not as strong as Yunalesca's. The guardian was a champion Blitzer, he used the name 'Tidus' but this was not his real name, no, his name, was Shuyin. This summoner, the genius who has found a possible way to end Spira's suffering…

…She was called Lenne.

A/N This is Definitely going to be about Yunalesca, but I thought that it would be interesting to throw Shuyin and Lenne into the mix. I probably won't update this much until FFX-0 is over, so, don't expect any fast updates!
