Resident Evil: Silver City Prologue:
9 years ago, there was a viral breakout in Raccoon City. Leon Kennedy was a rookie cop at the time. It was his first day on the job. He was on his way to the police department when he was attacked. Nothing at the academy could have prepared him for what happened to him next. He had been attacked by "zombies" and he met Claire Redfield, a civilian who was looking for her brother, Chris, a member of S.T.A.R.S. Eventually, they made it out of Raccoon city.

Umbrella's stocks crashed and went out of business soon afterwards. Leon had become a member of the Secret Service and, on his first day, had to find and rescue the president's daughter from an unknown group in Europe. It turned out that there was another outbreak, but this time, they weren't zombies…They were smarter, and communicated with each other. They weren't infected with the T-Virus…It was the Las Plagas Virus. Their leader was a member of the Illuminati, and had control over them. Somehow, Leon was able to defeat him in the end, and rescued the First Daughter.

But on the mission, his former comrade, Krauser, said that Umbrella had something to do with the whole thing. He couldn't figure it all out, though…

When he arrived in America, Leon was given the chance to become the head of a new special forces branch that was established mainly for finding and eliminating any and all infections of the T-Virus or the Las Plagas. This special forces squad was called Stars, in honor of the brave men and women who fought to reveal the truth.

The unit's secondary focus was searching for the source of all the mayhem. Umbrella. After they went out of business, the owners of the company disappeared without a trace before their trial.

The team consisted of all the former STARS members (except Wesker, of course), myself, Claire, and 2 other men that were highly recommended from the secret service, John Barnes and Jason Cunningham. For the past 2 years, I have been going around the world killing off the Las Plagas and T-Virus carriers.

Then, on September 28, 2009, there was another large outbreak. In Silver City, California…
