A walk down the street had become somewhat of a ritual for Kerry. She mostly went on walks just to get her mind on something besides her work, but she also wanted to see the letters. The letters she usually got were in her mailbox beyond the regular mail time. So she made herself wait to get the mail until 5:00. After her walk though as she walked to the mailbox she reached in and found nothing. Thinking to herself that that was a rare occurrence, she felt something hit her on the head and looked up to about, roughly, 30 letters pelting at her head. She screamed loudly and ducked to avoid any paper cuts.

Kerry heard doors open to the noise that her neighbors might have heard while in their houses. She turned around and her cheeks flushed bright pink as she exclaimed to her neighbors.

"Pesky mailmen! Don't know where exactly to put the mail anymore!"

The neighbors thought this a plausible excuse and slowly went back into their homes without a backward at the "crazy woman".
