"Wow, the final tournament of the year! I wonder how it going to turn out!" Zelda said to link
"yeah I know! I hope you win," link replied. Zelda raised an eyebrow.
"ok, no I hope I win!" link said truthfully. They were both laughing as peach came over.
"come on Zelda, you know I am the best!" link boasted
"wow link, could you be any more full of yourself?" ask peach with a little laugh.
" you know what I think peach? I think your-"
"lets just get to the assembly, shall we?" asked Zelda a little nervously. She hated when they fighted, as they always did. Sure link was a little conceited, but he was nice and sweet.
" Ok fighters," said the director of ssbm, "the line-up of the tournament is posted in each of your rooms! Unfortunately, Mr. Game and watch can not attend the tournament because of a leg injury and pichu can not attend because he sick, so that means that one person will go twice. That person is Marth" he said over a microphone. He talked a little more about the finale tournament and then they saw the line up,

"This is SO unfair!" complained fox. "Marth has 2 chances! If he loses once, he could still go on to the next round!"
" I know! Said ganondwarf. "I have to fight hims too! I hope me and roy bth beat him, that would serve him right!"
"umm, I didn't choose to fight twice, it was random!" said marth
Ganondwarf gave him a look of pure evil and left, fox gave him a more forgiving look but still didn't say anything and left.
"don't mind them," said Zelda. She frightened Marth because she came up from behind him, "they're just jealous." she told him sweetly. her eyes are so blue, and she is so sweet! Marth thought to himself he knew he had no chance with her. She and link were meant to be. Even though link wasn't a prince, as he was, link was a hero.
"Marth, are you ok?" asked Zelda, concerned. He had been staring blankly into space as he was thinking about that.
"what? Oh, uh sorry Zelda, I was, uh, thinking, about… something"
"what kind of something?" she asked curiously
"a kind of something that you will never find out about, that's what!" he replied.
"ok, ok I get!" she said laughing!
Mario and cpt. Falcon were doing a fight, mewto and young link were backstage getting ready, and everyone else was either at the house or the gym. Peach and Roy were in the living room, along with Marth, ganondwarf, and samus. Peach was talking to Roy, although eyeing Marth flirtatiously. Peach was a flirt everyone knew it but Mario.
"so who do you have to fight peach?" asked Roy. Roy secretly liked her. Secretly, he liked every girl here but he didn't think anyone had to know that.
"what" said peach, talking her eyes off Marth, "oh I am fighting Dk. It's so unfair!" she said with a pout. Roy laughed as Mario walked in looking very disappointed.
"what's wrong Mario?" asked peach, concerned.
"Well, cpt. Falcon beat me." he said.
"Aw, that's too bad, oh well, there is always next year right Mario?" said samus.
"yeah, I guess."
"Hey, who is going next anyway?" asked Math.
"I am," said young link walking into the room, "and I am scared to death of mewto! I am gonna die out there!" He said miserably.
"Don't worry, hey if your next, shouldn't you be up there? I Thought you were backstage right now!"
"Yeah I just had to get my water bottle," he went over to the fridge and got it. "well, wish me luck!" he said nervously
"good luck linky!" said peach.
