A poem. Erm. Tis about an Immortal. It isn't too long, but it just isn't meant to be longer. Thought I'd let fanfiction readers see it. :

Another

Sun rises yet again

To a day of dreariness

I could never walk among the light

again

I will never walk among the living

So I will dive in dreams

Nightmares greet me with a demonic grin

I don't know if I want to wake

again

Immortal I am

Immortal I remain

Night after night

Again and again

Night comes with the sunset

I awake

again

I put on my active skin

I step outside

I breathe in the night air

Cold and crisp in my lungs

I stare at the moon

It hides my heart from me

Time long gone

Reminds me

Of the time when I was once warm

Night after night

I see the moon

I see sunlight upon the horizon

Nightmares

I am immortal

Immortal I remain

Night after night

Again and again.
