White Flag

I know you think that I shouldn't still love you

Or tell you that

But if I didn't say it, well I'd still of felt it.

Where's the sense in that?

Ginny Weasley sat in the Gryffindor Common Room pondering about Harry. Currently, he was playing a game of Wizard Chess with Ron. He knew she had just broken up with Dean a week ago. The truth was, she had realized that she was in love with Harry. It wasn't a crush.

I promise I'm not trying to make your life harder

Or return to where we were.

She thought back to first year. Harry was having a hard life already for a 12-year-old and she had given him that disastrous valentine. Everyone had teased him. She had let go after that. He clearly showed no feelings for her.

Well I will go down with this ship

And I won't put my hands up and surrender

There will be no white flag above my door

I'm in love and always will be…

There was no use telling him. She had embarrassed him. He didn't feel the same way. For sure.

I know I left too much mess and destruction to come back again

And I caused nothing but trouble

I understand if you can't talk to me again

And if you live by the rules of "it's over"

Then I'm sure that that makes sense…

He didn't believe that they were more than just friends. It did make sense after that incident 5 years ago.

This was it. She had to talk to him. She walked over to the boys.

"Harry, can I talk to you alone?" Ginny asked quietly. Harry looked surprised.

"Uh… okay Ginny." He said confusedly. They walked down to the courtyard.

"What do you want, Ginny?" Harry asked. Ginny held her tongue for a moment, thinking.

And when we meet

Which I'm sure we will

All that was there

Will be there still

I'll let it pass

And hold my tongue

And you will think

That I moved on…

She couldn't hold it back any longer. This was it.

"Harry, I love you." She said. She started blushing furiously and ran back to her dormitory. She slammed the door shut and burst into tears. She was so stupid! She had just spilled her thoughts out and Harry's jaw had dropped! He probably hated her.

Loud knocking came on the door. She didn't open the door. It was unlocked open and Harry came in. Who knew how he managed to get in and she decided not to ask.

"Go away Harry! I've humiliated myself and leave me alone!" Ginny screamed. Harry just came closer to her and sat down after closing the door.

"No you haven't humiliated yourself. I love you too." Harry said quietly. He brought her closer and kissed her.

The world was perfect…
