She stared down at her feet as they raced over the ground at an almost inhuman speed.

How long had it been? A minute? An hour? A day? There was no evidence of how much time had passed, and she wanted it to stay that way. She never wanted to go back… ever, nothing in the world could make her.

She stopped looking at her feet and closed her eyes. Not that it made much of a difference; the blizzard was almost blinding her anyway. Her once ivory coloured cheeks were almost crimson red by now, as the wind whipped her long flaming red hair all around her.

Numbness. That's all she could feel in her body, down to her fingertips a painful, stinging numbness. She knew that she didn't have long, no one could survive this blizzard… but that didn't matter to her, she didn't want to survive. Her pace began to slow, dizziness took over her body; and she fell.

As she lay there in the cold snow, drifting away to a land all her own, she awaited the blissful sleep she had longed for all these years. The blissful sleep she would never be forced to awake from…

"WOOOO HOOOO!" A young boy screamed at the top of his lungs as he glided down a freshly snow-covered hill on the front of his toboggan.

Behind him a blonde haired boy, and a Chinese boy held tightly to the toboggan, also screaming their heads off.

"This must be the biggest hill EVER!" the blond haired boy shouted to the guy in front of him. Though his screams were muffled by the medium length blue ponytail poking out from under the lead man's toque.

"What was that Max!" He yelled back to the blonde kid.

" I said: This must be th-" he was cut of by the Chinese boy in the back.

"Tyson! Look out ahead!"

They all stared ahead and sure enough lying in the snow directly ahead of them was what appeared to be the figure of a person.

The three of them screamed and jumped out of the sled, causing it to swerve, narrowly missing the person. Forgetting about their toboggan they approached the bump in the snow, to find a girl. She appeared to be about their age, her skin was so pale, contrasting with her blood red hair. She looked half dead, like she had been laying there for days, but somehow hung on. As Rei lifted her from the cold ground a small dagger fell from her pocket and into the snow Max leaned down and picked it up stuffing it into his coat pocket, then ran to catch up with Tyson and Rei as they carried the stranger back to their cabin.

Ok… well that's just the beginning… kind of the Introduction. Next chappie will be longer though… if there is a next chappie. You'll just have to review and tell me if I should continue?
