Remy had been following Rouge the last couple days all through New Orleans. Rouge was getting fed up with Remy. She grabbed her stuff from the bar she had been staying in. She called Henri a man she had met in the park while with is Cousin Jake.
" Bonjour " A deep voice on the other end of the line said.
" Hey, there we just repossessed your car for none paid tickets and it is to be impounded today" she said in a Brooklyn accent a change from her southern one.
" What, I have a very expensive gift in that car, and what un-paid tickets?" Henri said.
Rouge started to laugh and then she said " You actually fell for that one, god Henri you are so gullible."
" Well hello to you to, Rouge!" Henri yelled.
" I need a favor." Rouge asked
"What Cherie"? Henri questioned
" I need a place to stay until I decide to go back to New York." Rouge said
" Let me talk to my pere and I will met you at Dalye's in half in hour". He said
Dalye's was a local bar and pool house.
She came down the stairs from the apartments above the bar and thanked the bartender for letting her stay there. She hurried out. Not seeing the two glowing red orbs staring at her from the dark. Remy followed her to Dalye's and sat down at the bar. Rouge walked over and sat down in one of the booths. Remy remembered that it was the place where Henri and him and their friends would sit every Friday night. Speaking of his brother that moment Henri walked over to rouge and picked up some of her luggage.
Remy followed them outside where he saw Henri, Jake, and Bella helping rouge out her stuff in the car. He stalked over and said "So, where you going Cherie"? This made rouge jump.
" Leave me alone gambit, Gumbo, Cajun, swamp rat, or Remy what ever your name is". Rouge said
Jake, Bella, and Henri turned around at the name Remy. They couldn't speak and Remy just smirked and friendly waved. Remy was Henri's little brother.
Remy grabbed Rouge around the waist and pulled her into a passionate yet romantic kiss.
She pulled away from him and kicked him in the shin " GO TO HELL".
He screamed in pain.
" Cherie, why did you kick me". Remy said to her
" Because you are a no good low dirty swamp rat, gambit " She said" and loving you is always a gamble". And with that she got in the car and they took off.
