It's been just about five thousand years I've been sitting here... waiting for Garison to come and remember me. This is what happened five thousand years ago... Garison swooned over me for a long time... he brought blood red roses, my favorite... he wished to stay with me, even though I was the younger and most unwanted sister. Part of that was because of who I am. The Goddess of Fire and Blood. I really don't know why I am the goddess of these, but I can tell you about the blood part.
It was that fateful day, when I brought Garison to meet my family...he saw my sister... The Goddess of Flowers. He immediately fell in love with her, and wooed her...he wished to see only her since that moment. I started getting mad because I was still madly in love with him. I planned a sort of revenge, one that would make him come back to me...one that involved death. I created a spell.
The spell that I created was a sort of slow death spell. I summoned the rage of fires and cut my shoulder, releasing a small stream of blood. Then I quickly sang the spell...
Raging fires of the dead hell
Blood that comes from within your well
I set you upon the heart
To kill as slow as the missing dart
Garison is whom you kill
Only enough for a will
The spell was quickly sent to Garison's heart, that the fire and my raging blood might slowly kill him by eating away at his heart, making a pain unbearable. Unfortunately I calculated the speed wrong. Every day, when I walked in the hall I saw blood trailing all over the floor. Garison had been bleeding so much because of the pain in his heart.
I had been waiting for Garison to come and plead for his life. Three days after the spell was sent, Garison was dead and the blood was one foot high. My sister and I went looking for his body, but it could not be found. A few days later, after his death, my sister and I found that he had stolen part of my heart, giving me one memory per three years. I couldn't remember who my father was, or what I was like as a child. Also, with the last of his strength, Garison set my spell back on me.
My sister and I devised a memory flower, to remember how he died, just in case he decided to take the memory away. I combined fire and blood, and she took the flower he had given her. The flower was born as the deadliest flower. It fed on human blood in large amounts. We couldn't even kill the flower. Only Garison could, but he was dead. Or so I thought.
As I sat in my room for 1,000 years, I saw Garison through my seeing window. He had been seeking my sister even in his second life. He had just reached the wastelands and was entering the cabin where we had left the flower. He stepped into the cabin and was attacked. I wished to help him, but then remembering that I had killed him before, I didn't help. He was almost killed, but he struck one last blow quickly, before the flower could get him. Soon after he killed the flower, he did actually die.
I sat in that room, stonewalls all around me…no doors. I always looked for Garison in his newer lives. The only problem was that he always came to my sister. Though his own blood was on the floor, he never came. The blood never did dry up. I kept wishing I could die, or at least have one chance to say that I was sorry before I really did die. That was all I wanted. To speak to Garison one last time, and then to die right before his eyes.
My wish never came, but that's not truly it. Five thousand years later, now, I have just found out that my sister had gone missing. I went to look for her, using the name Sandralina. I told every one that I was taken in by a couple, and that I am searching for my family. Part of that was actually true… I am looking for my family. Not that anyone knows that. Man…. Five thousand years without food sure made me hungry.
Grumble….
