Poem: The Riders Visit
Eiko: A humourous poem invovling the Nazgul
Skye rolls eyes
The riders visit
While Hobbits loitered in a pub,
The riders came to stay.
They tried to enter the prancing pony,
But they were turned away.
"Today we run a special,
Only hobbits and dwarves allowed,
So try again tomorrow,"
Said butterbur with a frown.
The riders weren't to happy,
They plotted for a way,
To get into the pony,
Before the hobbits got away.
They knelt down in the mud,
And tied shoes to their knees,
Before crawling back to the pony,
As small as a dwarf at least.
They banged on the door which was opened,
Butterbur laughed at the sight,
Of riders passing themselves off for dwarves,
On this dark and murky night.
