The cave was quiet.
The bats hanging to the roof were almost silent, but their quiet sounds hid the low hum of the electronic equipment that was in the cave.
The giant penny gleamed from where it sat and the gym equipment looked clean and new. They did not demand attention.
In the middle of the cave there were three glass cases. Inside two were costumes. Nightwing and Batgirl; fallen vigilantes.
In the middle though – the place of honour – there was no costume. There was a suit. A nothing special, black and white suit.
Like what a butler would wear.
