I do not own Silent Hill 3, or its characters...Konami does.
Silent Hill 3...
By: Dillon Sharp.
The fog had become too thick for me to even tell which direction I was walking in, all I knew was that my feet were carrying me forward. To make matters worse, darkness had taken over in full effect, I tried to wave my hand in front of my face, only to see dismal blackness. How did I even get here, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't remember why I was walking through this unearthly fog in the first place, everything up to a few moments ago was just...blank in my mind. I'm here for a reason though...I knew that.
I kept walking for a few minutes until a neon light in the distance caught my attention, the only light...faint...and dim, as I approached it, a sign scrawled in cartoony font read "Lakeside Amusement Park"
Dread, and nostalgia overwhelmed me...Just looking at the sign I could tell something was wrong with this place, although there had to be someone...or something inside the park to help me, if not anyone at least a payphone I could use to call for help.
I kept walking towards the sign, the entrance of the park came into view from electric lights coming from inside the park. Cautiously I entered, a light had appeared in front of me, and looking down at my chest, I realized a little flashlight came from nowhere and rested in my front coat pocket. Why wasn't it there when I needed it?
"Where am I?" I whispered softly to myself, this certainly wasn't your average everyday amusment park, The floor was gritty, and metallic, each step I took gave a soft "clank" sound. Suddenly, I noticed that a hard, plastic object appeared in my hand, and looking down at it, I was startled to find my razor opened, and ready for something. I always carry one around to make me feel tough, and just incase you meet the generic everyday rapist. I don't remember taking it out of my pocket though?
My slow breathing was causing the flashlight on my chest to bob its light up, and down...I didn't really want to move forward, deeper into the amusement park just yet, but a little bit of my light was illuminating something sitting on a bench, curiosity killed the cat you know?
I moved forward towards the red illumination, but as the bench came into view, it was the parks mascot, and on the mouth of Robbie the Rabbit there looked to be a fresh coat of blood, that's what the illumination was. I peered deeper into the mouth, but my flashlight illuminated a sickly brown...thing, if I had peered even deeper I would have vomited. Was it a dead body, and if it was...why was I taking it so...calmly?
Around Robbie the Rabbit, was cages, with what looked like more dead bodies suspended by thick ropes, maybe the darkness outside of the park would be better? No...Whatever did this to these people is probably out there...I shuddered just thinking that I could have walked right by one of the murderers. I wanted out of here...and I couldn't go back out into the darkness, I looked around the...room, if you would call it that. And a door caught my attention, it led deeper into the park, but at least it was away from all of this...carnage. Little did I know the darkness would have been a MUCH better choice...Robbie the Rabbit was the least of my worries.
