Authors Note: This was just a random thing I wrote one night while I had nothing else to do, so it's not supposed to be 100 brilliant. I have written better things, but I suppose I have written worse.

Morning Rises

Arrin lay in the bed she shared with Falcon, watching him sleep as she did every morning. She smiled to herself as she watched his chest slowly move up and down with every breath, she knew that sooner or later the rest of her friends would be woken by the early morning sun and the sweet loving Falcon would go back inside and the cold-hearted tough guy would wake from its sleep. She sat up in bed and moved a little closer to her sleeping love; she slipped her fingers between his and rested her head beside his.

Myne, Falcon's tiny Dove Guardian Ghost appeared on Arrin's shoulder. Arrin told the bird to watch their bedroom door and warn her of intruders.

Arrin used her free hand to gently stroke Falcon's hair which she loved, one light and one dark layer and to her it represented the two very different sides of the one man she loved with all her heart. Even the hate of the X-Laws who had once forced her to join them before she left them wasn't enough to put out the flames of the fire that was her love for Falcon, in fact, this only made her love for him stronger.

Arrin moved her body so that she was sitting up again, looking down on Falcon, she lowered her head and placed her soft pink lips on Falcon's, the moment seemed so right to her, the only thing that would have made it perfect would have been Falcon being awake to share it with her. A tear fell from her eye, landing on Falcon's cheek; she wiped it away almost as soon as it landed to avoid waking him.

Myne, the tiny Dove flew through the door to warn Arrin that the others were awake and that Anna was calling for her.

Arrin placed another kiss on Falcon's lips before getting out of bed to leave the room. As she was about to leave to start another day of not expressing her love, she stood by the door looking at Falcon again. "I love you."
