Stephen's POV

I've been lying here watching her sleep for the past twenty minutes, not really wanting her to wake. It amazes me actually, that she can look so peaceful while she's asleep, I mean, during the day she can be so stubborn and hardheaded, who knew. She slowly awakes and turns to face the alarm clock, which I guess I am in the way off. She looks at me intently and blinks; I run my fingers through her hair and smile.

God, she's so beautiful. I think before speaking. "Confused?" I raise my eyebrow and move my hand down to her shoulder, using my thumb to trace patterns on her shoulder.

"Not anymore." She whispers back.

"Good." I move towards her and kiss her gently on the lips, smiling as I pull back. "So, what should we do today?"

She thinks for a minute before replying. "Well, it's raining and we don't have to work, so, I say we finish what we started last night." I see the mischievous glint in her eye and smile.

"Sounds like a plan Doctor." She smiles back at me and my heart melts.

I kiss her again and roll over, pulling her down on top of me.

"Although I do believe that there wasn't anything to finish." I kiss her shoulder and she giggles when I find that spot behind her ear that's always made her squirm.

"Good point." She pulls her head out of my hands and looks me in the eyes. "But we could always get up." She tries to pull off of me and I grab her hips gently and pull her back to me.

"I don't think so Missy." I kiss her passionately and pull the covers up over our heads.

The rain beats against the bedroom window, but it doesn't bother me in the least. I could think of much better ways to spend my day, like with the adorable blonde doctor currently kissing her way down my neck. Yeah, much better ways.
