Disclaimer: I do not own Phantom of the Opera
A little story I created when I watched the movie
This isn't really a drabble but then again it isn't a short story causes it's WAY too short…
I told her to choose, I told her to choose whom she wanted. And she ended up hating me. What have I done wrong? I have taught her so many things. All I had were a few little rules that she needed to obey…. Or maybe too many…
The little monkey crashes its little cymbals. How… nice…
She kissed me didn't she? After she told me that I wasn't alone. What a lie. She could never be in love with a monster like me no women could. She could never love the…what is the name? It was so long time ago. Oh yes, the Devil's Child.
The little monkey swings side to side on its little cushion…
And now she left with that joke of a man to live a better life.Christine, why? She still had many things to learn so many things the angel of music was yet to teach her.
The tune of the little monkey finally gets to me…
Masquerade,
Paper faces on parade
Masquerade
Hide your face so the world will never find you
Then just then I feel someone standing next to me. I turn around, and there she stands, so beautiful in that dress I made for her.
A dress that would never be worn for me.
Christine, has she come back for me?
But then she hands me the ring, Christine, doesn't she understand? As the ring presses into my hand, the world shatters at the same time.
Christine, doesn't she understand I love her?
Masquerade…………
Paper faces…………on parade
Masquerade.…………
Hide……... your face………so the world………will never find you…
So sad, I feel so sorry for the Phantom!
