Relena's death has hunted Heero for a while now, but now has she come back as a ghost, and what does she want from Heero. i usually don't write stories with 01xR pairings, but this is ones not that bad, hopefully. please R&R.

2. Time to let Go

Chapter 2

Heero paced around the room. He turned and looked at the gun on the table. 'I should have died too. Should I…….join her?' he thought, as he walked over to the gun. 'I can't wake up another day without seeing her face and her beautiful smile.' With that thought, Heero took the gun and pointed it towards himself. Without another thought he pulled the trigger.

"Heero, no. you can't die, It's not your time." Heero realized that voice. He knew it belonged to his beloved Relena. "Relena?" Heero said, looking at his beloved. "Yes, it's me." Relena said, running into the arms of her Heero. But soon she pulled away from him.

"What's the matter?" Heero asked. "You're not suppose to die. Not yet. I didn't want you to live unhappy." Relena said, as tears flooded her eyes. "But I can't live without you." "Yes you can. And you need to. You need to go back, and live your life until its time for you to join me."

"But-" Heero was cut of. "They're all waiting for you. Duo, and the others, they still need you." Relena said, crying. "But I don't want to leave you….again." "I want you to, I'm always with you, and that your life has yet to begin. Don't worry, we'll meet again. When it's time." "But -" "No buts about it. Now go." Relena said, pointing to the light.

"Hey Heero, you awake yet?" Heero recognized that voice, it was his friend Duo. "I found you on the floor, with blood everywhere. Look I know the death of Relena was harsh on ya, but you'll get through it. But you can't end your life cuz of It, got it?" " I got it." Heero replied. "Whoa man, you sure you ok? It ain't like you to agree with me like that." Duo said with a grin. "Maybe the bullet caused some brain damage." Heero said with a weak smile. "First you agree then you make a joke, maybe, maybe…." after a long pause, Duo said. "You know, next if there's something wrong, just tell me, ok, I mean talk to me buddy." "Don't worry, I don't think I'll try this again." Heero said.

That night, as Heero fell asleep and began to dream. "Heero, you need to do one last thing." Relena said to him. "What's that?" Heero asked. "You need to let go of me." she said. "I know, but I don't think it'll be easy." "Take a step at a time." Relena said smiling. "I don't want to let go of you just yet." And at that Heero smiled.
