"You look different."
I'd like to say thank you to CSI Gray for reviewing my last fan fic. It was really appreciated and it helped me a lot. I'm currently expanding that story like you suggested and I've got another one I'm working on so thank you.
This is just a short drabble that I thought up while I'm in the middle of writing some other things.

People had been saying it ever since he had walked into work this morning
"You look different"
"Thanks" Danny would say with a smile and he would carried on with whatever he was doing. Stella had noticed it, and so had Hawkes, but neither one could grasp what it was about Danny Messer that was different today.
He was sat in the lab processing a fibre found a crime scene the team were working on when Flack and Aiden walked in.
"Stella said you seemed different today." Aiden asked as they approached Danny.
"Hello to you too." Danny said momentarily looking up from the sample that was under the microscope.
"Yeah you do seem different." Flack added.
"Thanks." Danny chuckled going back to examining the fibre.
"Well aren't you going to tell us what's different?" Aiden asked impatiently.
"Nope. I'm enjoying the confused looks." Danny replied. Aiden and Flack sighed in defeat and then walked out.
Later on, Mac, Stella, Danny, Flack and Aiden had gathered in one of the evidence rooms to discuss the case.
"We're at a dead end." Stella told Mac.
"The evidence points to Jarvis Miller but he's got an alibi." Danny told them.
"Right. Aiden, Flack speak to Jarvis again. See if anyone can corroborate his alibi. Danny, Stella, we'll go back to the evidence, see if we've missed something." Mac told them. They all nodded in agreement and then began to file out of the room to do the tasks assigned to them.
"You changed your glasses?" Mac asked as they walked out the room.
"Yeah, picked them up last night." Danny smiled. Behind him Stella, Flack and Aiden all sighed in realisation.
"No one really noticed." Danny chuckled. All three of them hit him as they walked past disgusted that they hadn't worked it out.
