I THINK I got it right this time. shrugs and peruses Ba'al/Jack fanfic
"Daniel? What does xantippe mean?"
Daniel pushed his glasses up his nose. "Generally, 'ill-tempered woman.'"
"OK. And what about 'termagant?'"
"'Shrewish woman.' Why?"
"Just wondering." Jack gave him a bright smile. "Gotta write that report, dont'cha know!"
Jack walked to his office, ignoring Daniel's protests that he had written his report already. He sat in front of his computer and switched the screen back on.
Major Carter has proven consistently that she is both a termagant and an xantippe...It is on my firmest recommendation that she be transferred off SG-1 and be stationed somewhere on base with no off-world contact...
