"Jiub: A Dunmer's Tale"

Chapter 1: Seyda Neen

It was about six in the morning.

"Alright, we've arrived in Morrowind, I think its Seyda Neen. Isn't that where we drop the one off?" A guard said to another guard.

"Yeah, wake those idiots up. We have to make schedule." Jiub could hear the guards talking outside the little room Dingus, and he was stored in. Jiub noticed Dingus was shaking. But Jiub didnt know Dingus that well and Dingus didn't know Jiub. They were pretty much strangers to each other.

"Wake up, we are here." Jiub whispered to Dingus, but he was fast asleep. "C'mon, get up. The guards will be getting you soon." Dingus moaned and turned over, he started to shake violently, like if he was having a seizure. "Why are you shaking? Are you okay? Wakeup!" Jiub yelled. He grabbed Dingus' arm and helped him up. "Stand up, there you go. You were dreaming. I am Jiub. What's your name?"

"Hello. I am Dingus Wazbachin, assassin." Dingus scratched his head, yawned, and then cracked his back.

Jiub laughed, "Well, not even last night's storm could wake you." He started to become more serious. " I heard them say we've reached Morrowind. I'm sure they'll let us go."

"Okay. I couldn't stand another night on that--" He was cut off by Jiub.

"Quiet, here comes the guard." A guard slowly walked towards the room they were in. A man greets Dingus.

"This is where YOU get off, come with me." The guard said in a snobby attitude. Dingus hesitated.

"Aren't you coming, Jiub?" Dingus said.

"No. Now go before something happens!" Jiub yelled.

The guard emitted in a mean tone, "Get yourself up on deck, and let's keep this as civil as possible." Dingus last looked at Jiub and kept walking to the door that leads to the upper deck. Jiub heard Dingus and the guards talk about something, but it was too low to makeout what was said. A hatch could be heard opening and closing. What the hell is this? Jiub thought. Why didn't they let me out? Damn, n'wahs. He sighed and sat down in his dusty wooden corner. Jiub passed out soon after.
