Trunks waited for Goten to stop dancing to leave the club. A girl pushed up close to Trunks on accident and carelessly, then bounced back onto the dance floor in rhythm to the music. Then he saw her. She spun around aimlessly and alone, her hazel hair spinning in motion with her body. Her short denim skirt wrapped tightly around her thighs. He shook his head of his thoughts and went back to waiting. But he went back to watching her. Why? Her flawless porcelain face and bronze tan were so sexy under the pulsating rainbow lights. Their eyes connected and she began to dance more sexily, knowing he was watching her.
She cocked her head to the side, asking if he wanted to come over. He looked around himself, being sure she was asking him, and made his way through the crowds as she smiled, her lips parting slowly. Another song came on, and she soon began moving in motion with Trunks.
About two songs later, they switched to a slower song, and she stepped closer to him and put her hands around his waist and laid her head on his shoulder. He looked down at the top of her head, shocked that such a beautiful girl wasn't home by this hour. She looked so innocent. And sexy. What was he thinking? He was Pan's boyfriend… but this was just some fun, this wouldn't go anywhere, right?
But then the song ended and she took his hand. She pulled him with her out into the parking lot, with still no words being said. She looked up at his eyes, and then stood on her toes to kiss his lips. Trunks kissed her back passionately, as though they had known each other for more than a couple of hours.
"I have to go…" She whispered, her voice sweet and innocent.
"No…" She began to walk away.
"When will I see you again?" Trunks grabbed the girl's arm. She turned around, facing into his sweet eyes. He looked at her anxiously, hoping to get an answer close to 'soon'.
"I don't know… You'll see me… around…" Trunks dropped her arm and nodded sadly. "Bye…"
Trunks smiled. "Wait!" He yelled, her car pulling out of the parking lot. "What's your name!" The car drove off. He sighed, but then saw it come back around the turn.
"My name's Rein…" She shouted, kindly. "See ya around…" With that, she was gone just as fast as she had walked into and torn up Trunks' life.
Trunks unlocked and pushed through his apartment door, smelling of typical party smells; cigarettes and beer. He wandered over toward the telephone: 8 messages. He pressed the 'play' button, hearing Pan's voice repeat the same saying over and over again: "Hey, Trunks, it's Pan… same as the last time… where are you? I miss you… Well, call me… please? I don't care how-"
"Messages deleted." The machine spat back. Trunks sighed. What had had he done to get so caught up in what he was? 'Rein, Rein, Rein…' He kept repeating the name in his mind, Her hazel eyes that scanned every inch of his body. Her long, brown, straight hair flowing from her dance twirls on the floor. Her sweet cherry lips she had pressed against his. Her halter top that matched the color of her car. Her license plate and her tail lights. Why didn't he ask her to stay longer?
