Seventy-five
The sun rises over
The village,
Its warm glow
Causing the
City to
Wake.
For a moment,
Nothing happens,
Then everything
Bursts apart,
Breaking boundaries
To later remake.
One woman
Stands,
Her body straight
And tall,
As she watches the river,
A silver snake.
She used to go down
There,
To meet with
a team,
But now they are gone,
Leaving only memories to take.
The sun rises over
The village,
Its warm glow
Causing the
City to
Wake.
But she only
Stands there,
Waiting to see
What the
new day
Will make.
