Movie Night

Movie Night
The tape slid into the VCR with a small –click-.
"Alright. Everyone got popcorn? The movie is starting." Hakuba said as he sat down next to Kaito on the couch.
There was a slight mutter as the occupants of the room told him they did.
The whole crew was there. Kaito, Aoko, Heiji, Kazuha, Akako, (much to everyone's displeasure) Ran, and Shinichi. Well, and of course Hakuba too. After all, it –was- his turn to host movie night.
The group had decided on a horror film. Last time, at Akako's house, they had to watch Hello Kitty with the witch making perverted comments throughout the entire night. This time, they voted Hakuba's place. Mostly because it was less disturbing and it helped that his mum made them popcorn and hot chocolate.
The VCR whirred a bit. Then the movie began to start.
Kaito burst out laughing.
"I don't see what's funny about Night of the Living Dead, Kuroba." Hakuba muttered.
Kaito managed to stop laughing long enough to tell him. "Even your VCR is polite!" He chortled, pointing at the box.
Hakuba glared at the cheery green "Thank you!" the letters spelled out.
Fin.

Written because my VCR says "Thank you!" when you put a tape in, "Hello!" when you turn it on, and Good bye!" when you turn it off.
