Forever To Cry, Forever to Love
Pain is like the stars
Not always seen,
but always there
No one knows pain until they feel it for themselves
For some, it comes all to quickly,
for others, it couldn't be so far away
Pain. It is such a hard thing to understand,
for one who has never felt it,
never could
You lose the one thing keeping you here,
your whole world crashes down about you,
and there is nothing to do to keep them here
Nothing to keep the pain away
Nothing to ease your troubled mind
No-one to comfort you as you cry...
Are you to be doomed to a life of tears?
Are you to live alone for the rest of your millennia,
until the world itself falls to ruin?
And as you stare at the dead face,
void of any life,
your thoughts return to what you heard some one say...
Do not love those who will one day be gone
For when their soul leaves,
yours will to.
How I wish I would've listened to them
Would've avoided you
Then I wouldn't be so dead myself
But then, my life would've always been empty,
I would've never learned to laugh,
I would've never learned to love
So, I guess, it was better this way
I guess I always knew it would have to end
But why so soon?
These tears I shed are of love, not regret
I will continue to cry, but not forever
For I need forever to remember you.
