Us Two
This is just a summary, after you finish reading it there will be info at the bottom explaining why its so short...hope you like!
We all know that all the girls at P.S. 118 have a best friend. Nadine and Rhonda, and Helga and Phoebe. But what about Lila? or Sheena? Well believe it or not the two became best friends. It was the last month of 4th grade and Sheena was sitting alone on the bench. Nadine, Rhonda, Helga, and Phoebe were eating lunch together but Sheena left feeling left out so she went outside. Lila had been swinging on the swings and came up to Sheena to see what was wrong.
Lila: Hi Sheena, are you ok...?
Sheena: Yea, Im fine, just sitting
Lila: Well how come your not sitting with the other girls?
Sheena: I dont know, I guess I just felt, in the way, left out
Lila: May I ask why?
Sheena: Well, they all have best friends; Nadine & Rhonda and Helga & Phoebe, and well, that just leaves me
Lila: Well, to tell you the truth, I dont have a best friend either
Sheen: really? but...
Lila: I have friends, like you and the other girls, but I dont have that one speacial best friend that I can tell secrets too...you know?
Sheena: Yea! I know what you mean, I mean, Eugene is nice, but hes my neighbor and I've know him forever, but I need a girl best friend
Lila: yea
Lila: I say we be best friends!
Sheena: dont you want a "cool" best friend, im just, a geek
Lila: No your not! Your excellent at dance! Im so jealous, I wish I was a great dancer
Sheena: aw, thanks
After school ended that day, Lila and Sheena hung out at the park to get to know each other. Since then, Sheena and Lila had been best friends. They did everything together, they spent the whole summer getting to know each other more, and had sleepovers everynight, and since Lila's dad got that promotion, and they moved near Phoebe, Lilas dad had enough money to take Sheena on Vacation with them. The two girls were quite a pair. Their friendship continued throughout the years and they promised to remain best friends forever. Many people at their school were suprised to see them hanging out, but they didn't care, they were best friends and thats all that mattered. They realized they had more in common they had thought. Sheena loved Ballet, and Lila did too, even if she couldn't do it, but they did go to many ballets together. The best thing Sheena and Lila learned is that you'd be surprised at what you learn about someone.
