If You Think You Know How To Love Me

Author's Note: I had to come up with something for this title and I had a lot of trouble with it. I know some people think it is cheesy when you put the title in the story but I have trouble getting around it sometimes. This is sort of a Sam introspective look during part of the conversation she has with O'Neill about Pete's proposal.

You act as though you are fine with my relationship. However, I see how much more distant you have become. But, maybe that's just the promotion because other times we seem just as close as we've ever been. It is when we find ourselves most vulnerable that I know you still care. I can see it. I also see that you think Pete is not right for me. You think he doesn't suit the life I live or me. Well, if you think you know how to love me, show me. Or else I will have to take this ring.
