The kitten he showered with all of his love
Lest Edward find out and give it a shove
Until one day, Al knew in his heart
That soon he and Ed would have to depart
The kitten he gave to a girl he had met
Down by the river, in a fishing tournament
He waved to the kitten, a final farewell
When all this happened? I'll never tell!
