Looking Back

A/N: This is a oneshot where Link looks back at his and Zelda's life at her funeral.
I walk up to the alter, crying for my wife, she died in child birth soon after the misscarrage. Now I am standing here looking at her beautiful face and I remember...
FLASH BACK
Zelda walked down the isle, dressed in a beautiful white dress smiling. She was getting married that day to the love of her life, Link.
'Goddesses, she looks good!' Link thought as she approached and he whispered, "Ready?"
"Yes" she whispered back and they walked up to the priest.
"We are gathered here today to wed Princess Zelda to Link Korkirian..." On and on it went untill finally, "Do you Princess Zelda, take Link Korkirian to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do."
"And do you Link Korkirian, take Princess Zelda to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do."
"I now prounounce you husband and wife you may kiss the bride."
Link gracefully dipped Zelda and passionatly kissed her then carried her down the isle.
END FLASH BACK
Link smiled at this thought and he cried even more as he remembered...
FLASH BACK
"C'mon Zel, it's not that scary!" Link took his shakeing wife's hand and dived off the waterfall in Zora's Domain.
"AHHHHHHH!" Zelda was screaming and she pulled herself closer to Link as they hit the water, "Link, don't make me do that again."
"Yes your magesty." Zelda hit Link and it turned into a game of water tag and they went back into their honeymoon suite and made love as they fell asleep.
END FLASH BACK
Link knew that that was the whole start of this mess and he remembered...
FLASH BACK
"Princess, Link, I am proud to tell you that you're gonna be parents!" The doctor looked at the smiling couple that had come in because of Zelda's sudden morning sickness.
"That's wonderful." Link smiled at his wife and they went home.
END FLASH BACK
Link placed a single pink rose, Zelda's favorite, and walked back to his seat. He would never be able to fill this hole in his heart.
