AN: hey! just another one shot. not my best; but i had fun writing it! remember to review :)
The Date
Lily leaned against her door with a humungous smile on her face, her heart beating wildly. She had just got back from her date with James. He had asked her out during work the week before, and of course she had said yes. Ever since their 7th year she had been head over heals for him.
She had never felt like this with anyone ever before. Whenever he smiled at her she went week at the knees. When he wasn't with her she thought about him. When he was with her, the only thing she could think about was how she had never been happier in her life. Just the thought of him made her breath catch in her throat.
Right now she could still feel his lips on hers, still smell his cologne. She couldn't stop running over the whole evening again and again. How he hadn't stopped smiling at her, how he had played with her bracelet when they're arms were resting closely on the table. How he had walked her to her apartment door and kissed her softly on the lips. She could still feel his breath on her neck….."I'll see you tomorrow lily" he had whispered. Maybe she was making too much of this, but she still couldn't stop thinking about him.
With a large smile on her face she practically skipped into the kitchen. While taking off her heals, she screamed to her room mate. "he kissed me Hestia! He kissed me!" when Hestia heard this she ran from her room to the kitchen and skidded to a halt in front of Lily.
"He didn't!" Lily grinned slyly.
"He did." they both squealed in delight like school girls and sat down on their couch, grinning wildly.
"So? Other than that; how was it?"
"What do you mean? Other than that, every thing else is like….nothing!" they both giggled.
"Come on Lils! I want all the dirty details!" lily laughed again and spoke of everything, including the butterflies that insisted on staying in her stomach.
Later that night, as lily laid in bed, staring at the ceiling, everything seemed brighter. She didn't care that she had a terrible boss that was probably going to fire her; she didn't care that she had an order meeting the next night. She didn't care that she had forgotten to feed the cat and pay the electric bill. All she could see was James, and she liked it that way.
the little button is just there! come on now! push it!
