I THOUGHT
I thought I had everything planned up
I thought my life would be as what it was
I thought.
But I didn't realize
That beneath the sands of my life
Were tiny holes that vacuum my soul
Grain by grain
Slowly
Painfully
Eternally
I thought everything planned up
But you looked at me and my form was shattered
You looked straight at me
And I gave in my own failure
Now, I lay with my frail heart on the ground
I lay with my broken soul
I lay alone and cold
He was coming for me
Slowly
Painfully
Eternally
I thought I had everything planned up
But I was wrong
I was forever wrong
And so I lay on my tomb
Frozen and lifeless
Unable to reach the distant sky
Death was coming for me
Slowly
Painfully
Eternally
