Yuna and her Guardians where travelling trough the thunder plains when they noticed Rikku was gone. They stopped at a local hotel yess! a local hotel! to rest a bit while Tidus and Wakka went to find her.

Rikku kept her eyes close. Not because she couldn't open them, but she was too afraid that she might see something she didn't want to see. So she just sat there waiting for nothing, she felt the cold rain on her face and heard the thunder roaring above her. She felt her arms witch where wrapped around her waist, slightly get weaker. She didn't felt the rain on her face anymore also the thunder that scared her to death only a few seconds ago was gone.
She tried to move but her body wouldn't co-operate. Rikku felt a sleep.
Tidus was standing near a lightning tower when he saw Rikku. She was Lying on the floor near a huge black boulder. WAKKA! WAKKA! WAKKAAAAAAAA! ' I'm standing next to you don't have to shout!' Wakka answered, 'sorry Wakka' Tidus said quickly, so he could continue the conversation about what he saw. I saw her! She's lying near a boulder I think ½ a mile away,' 'maybe even less' Tidus quickly added. ' But then what are we waiting for? Let's get her! She may be--- ' Wakka was already started running and Tidus, who was the most athletic of all Yuna's Guardians, couldn't keep up this time with the normally a little lazy Wakka.
