The Dangers of Not Sleeping

It's just like any other day in Konoha. The villagers do what they usually do, happy and not caring about the dangers that lurk in the Hidden Village of Sand (Temari is having one of her mood swings so it's total chaos over there).

Yes, people here are very lively, excluding the famous Hatake Kakashi. We now see him, reading his latest issue of Icha Icha Paradise but there was something weird. And when he finally looked up from his book, the readers finally realize that our dear Kakashi didn't get any sleep last night.

Even though he seems to be enjoying his book, he is deadly tired, stumbling into people, animals, and objects that lay scattered on the busy streets.

And to make his day worse, he saw one of the most impossible things a ninja can see in their life.

Team Gai, including their sensei, was wearing squirrel costumes while promoting the latest line of toys from "Squirrels are Ninja's Best Friends". Tenten, Lee, and Neji…. The Neji was wearing a squirrel costume, with those cute little brown ears and that fluffy tail. And let's not forget Gai who, for some special reason, was wearing a green and spandex version of the suit.

This was all Kakashi can handle.

"…This is the last time I'm staying up all night to watch those kiddie shows."

And that's what happens when a ninja doesn't get any sleep at night.

"So remember kids, even though you want to see Neji in that oh-so-cute costume, I'm sure you don't want to see Gai in one, you better sleep at least 8 hours a day or else, you might see worse."

"Sakura, are you done now?"

"Hai, Sasuke-kun. I think that story you told me really made my cousin sleep. Thanks a lot"

"Hn, let's go then. And by the way, that story is true."

"…Poor Kakashi-sensei"
