Buffy Summers, Slayer extraodonair, was unravaled as could be. Normally nothing frazzled her steel strong nerves, nothing dared. She had faced more evil and horrors that would have any grown man screaming hiding. But this wasn't just any horror that caused her stress of nerves. This was beyond any prophecy ever written. The blood curdling in her veins could only be caused by one thing; her sister. Or more importantly, the boy her sister was moving in with. No, not boy. This was definitely no child. It was a young man. But a man none the less.

"Buffy," Willow called to her friend, opting to be the voice of reason. "Maybe you should give him a chance. From what Dawn's said about him he seems like a nice guy."

"So did Parker," the Slayer grunted, marching to her destination. "And look how well that turned out."

Willow, not to be frightened by the sight of her best friend, once again spoke up and tried to calm the frazled Slayer. She had faced worse foes than her friend and she was not going to be intimidated by the new and improved cave slayer, no matter how much she grunted.

"I'm not going to let you kill him," Willow told her before pulling out the big guns. "Besides, if you can't be nice to him for him then at least try to be nice for Dawn's sake."

Buffy turned to the wiccan, about to respond, when her head swiveled toward the door in front of them and the sound coming from behind it.

"Come on," came her sister's exasperated voice. "You can do this. I know you can."

"Dawn, I've never done this before," came a male voice.

"It's not that hard."

"I'll have you know it is very hard!"

"I don't understand why you won't let me just use my wand to do it. It would be a magical experience."

"We can make our own magical experience," Dawn said. "Besides, I want to do the the old fashioned."

"But I've never done this before," the male voice said. "I'm a little nervous."

"Oh come on," Dawn said. "Just push it in to me."

The male grunted before saying, "Like this?"

"Just a little more," Dawn said. "I'm almost there. A little more to your left."

The male grunted again, as did Dawn.

"That's it," came Dawn's By this point Buffy was beyond seeing red. She was seeing flames!voice again. "Right there... Ahhh!"

By this point Buffy was beyond seeing red. She was seeing flames! Forgetting about any sensible thought she burst into the apartment and saw... two fully clothed people. Huh? Now she was just confused. She could have sworn she heard...

"Buffy!" Dawn said, wiping sweat from her brow. "What are you doing here?"

"I was... and Willow...," Buffy trailed off before regaining her thoughts. "What were you two doing in here?"

"Moving the bookcase," Dawn answered. "What did you think we were doing?"

"Oh! Um... nothing," Buffy said lamely. "We thought you were doing nothing."

"Uh huh," Dawn said, not believing a word of it but changing the subject none the less.

"Hi, Dawnie," Willow greeted with a hug.

"Hey, Willow," Dawn said, then taking the male's hand, "This is my boyfriend Fred. He's a wizard. It's that so cool!"
