Grown Up:
Years have gone by. Naraku was dead and the hatred between Inuyasha and Sesshomaru was gone. Rin had just turned sixteen. Being considered an adult now she looked over at everyone. They were all in couples with the exception of Kohaku, Sesshomaru, and her Kagome.
The adventure of being with a demon lord had died down after the final battle. Everyone spent their time together because no one was able to part. Shippo, Souten, and Rin herself were raised by Kagome as a mother figure. Kagome was even more beautiful as a twenty- four year old, and she was still single.
Is Rin supposed to be in love with you like this? Rin sang in her head looking over at Kagome.
The little song went on until the innocent girl got distracted.
"Rin! You want to stay at my house tonight? It's getting dark. " Kagome asked, unaware of Rin's feelings.
"Can Rin sleep in your bed?" She replied cutely.
"Okay Rin!"
As the night wore on Rin didn' t stop looking at Kagome sleeping. Everyone needed to know Rin wasn' t a child anymore, she had adult feelings too and she will do something about it.
Kagome's eyes flooded open and Rin smiled.
"Rin wants to tell you a secret, pretty lady." Rin never grew out of certain speaking habits.
"What Rin?" Kagome replied sleepily.
Rin leaned down and kissed Kagome softly, "Rin isn' t a child anymore and I'm in love with you."
The older woman's eyes widened sharply, "But Rin."
"NO BUTS! Rin doesn' t care if you feel the same or what other people will say."
Kagome looked at her and gave up kissing the younger girl back, "Sesshomaru is going to kill me."
"No your mine." Rin told her cutely.
"Yeah and I give up trying to convince you of anything, plus I'm in love with you too." Kagome started going back to sleep, "... only reason for that is 'cause your so sweet."
"Heeheehee" Rin giggled cuddling to Kagome.
This was going to be a good life.
