Title: The Art of Boredom

Rating: PG-13

Disclaimer: Not mine. Belongs to someone else. So sad.

Author's Note: Just a quick little dabble about Suki and Tej. Though it does mention a few things that which occurred in my other story, Black Widow.

Suki was bored. Not just bored bored but really really extremely bored. Brian and Monica had finally learned their lesson about public dates and were now avoiding them. Which sucked since that had been very amusing. Course Rome and the Librarian were also amusing so she still had something to watch for laughs. However that did not change the fact that she was bored.

She rolled over with a sigh. "I'm bored."

Tej turned his head to look at her. "That's nice."

She scowled at him.

"Alright I'm bored too."

"So," she said after a moment, "what are we going to do about it?"

Tej shrugged (though it looked really odd considering they were laying down).

She sighed. "We could go out and eat."

Tej shook his head. "Do you really want to press our luck? Look what happened to Brian and Monica last time they tried."

"Yeah but their luck is worse than ours." Monica and Brian were in the lead with the most places they had been banned from at twenty three. Tej and her had only been banned from fourteen. Okay so both of them had really bad luck. "Movies?"

"Remember what happen last time?"

"Hey it wasn't my fault that movie was grossly inaccurate. Fuck if they're going to put a car chase in a movie they should at lest make it something that could actually happen in real life. That shit was totally wrong."

"I know but you shouting that loudly at the screen got us kicked out."

"You, Brian and Rome were shouting it with me."

"And that is reason thirty-seven why Monica refuses to go to movies with us."

Suki shrugged. "It was a crappy movie anyway. Beach?"

"Don't feel like it," he answered.

She rolled her eyes. "Mall?"

Tej just gave her a look.

"Didn't think you'd go for it but a girl's got to try."

There was silence for a few moments as the two watched the stars.

"Ya know," Tej commented, "this would probably be more interesting if we actually knew where some of those damn constellations are."

"Probably," she agreed, "Wanna just make up our own instead?"

Her boyfriend considered it. "Why not? Not like we're doing anything."
