Summary: I think I should keep this short… Ryan's thoughts.
Ryan went back in the shower and shrugged the cold water, he then moved back and started to search for the wall behind him. He leaned back on it and sighed…
"Another day in Newport…"
Don't get him wrong, life here was great for him. But since he left the place for the summer, things just didn't go easy on him. He then remembered Marissa and DJ kissing right before his eyes. He then tried as hard as he could to think about schoolwork, and take his mind off the topic…
Ryan moved closer to the water that was starting to heat up, as he let the water run on his head he remembered the science project he had to do with Lindsay after school. Lindsay wasn't so bad, he thought. Then he giggled a bit remembering the first day they met, how he almost killed her.
Wow He thought, he actually forgot about Marissa for awhile. Maybe things won't be so bad today as long as I don't run into DJ or Marissa, for now.
Ryan got out of the shower, dressed up and opened the door as he zipped up is jacket. He spotted Seth brushing through a comic, amusing himself with his memories.
Seth looked up and said "I got a bit of a neck strain, so you're driving today."
"Ok…" Ryan replied as they moved around the infinity pool, and into the kitchen. Sandy was brewing his coffee, and said his goodbye to them.
"Don't get in trouble now."
Seth and Ryan now were walking towards the car,
"You seem awfully quite." Seth said to Ryan as he got in the passenger seat.
"Wait, what am I thinking you're always quite!"
Ryan just looked at him as he started to back out and drove towards Harbor High.
