When I'm Gone
Isabel Night

There is another world inside of me-
Most people refuse to see
A location of confusion, accusations, and blood-
The very situation that sums up me

If you flipped a coin with my face on it-
What portrait would you see?
Monk or Warlord
Guardian or friend
Are they personalities that you would believe?

You have accused the Ronins of kidnapping-
A subtle, gray-shaded lie
I made the choice-
You loathed the response-
It was live free, or die

I mourned for you as I would for a brother-
However, realms and people change
I don't know if you ever missed my absence-
Then again-
I'm glad you stayed the same

As I stand outside this decimated temple-
Your eyes say more than words
You want some answers-
Many explanations-
Would you be willing to enter my world?

I don't care if I experience the sting of your blades
I'll endure it-
Just as long as you are free
What I have done-
I have done for you
Please get out, go, and leave!

Don't get sucked into my complex world-
Where two sides pull at me
I will die to save your souls from Talpa-
If that is what is needed-
Then that is what will be
