"Hello, Brenna."
Bursts of laughter issued freely from Brenna's pouty lips. She stood up from her made-for-the-masses plastic chair and sauntered casually toward the door at the other end of the Anglican school gym. She was not quite ready for alcoholics anonymous. Maybe next week.
Her dignity regained instantly after her departure from the overwhelmingly tired and trite self-help group, Brenna pulled some aviators over her eyes and began rummaging through her green Prada purse for her tube pass.
It was time for a drink.
Her favorite bar was a place called Finnegan's, located down a rather dodgy cobbled street not far from King's Cross. She would stop for a stroll by the Thames on the way.
