Night is closing in.

What once was found,

Will never be found again.

Lost to the memories,

Lost to thee.

All we want is to be free.

Gone is the innocence,

Of a world brand new,

Innocence that is gone with you.

Where light used to dwell,

Now only darkness remains.

With the darkness, brings the rain.

But these tears from heaven,

That mix with our own,

Will never bring you home.

With the battle done,

And the day through,

Now there stands only two.

Light has won.

Yet night still closes in.

Will we ever see the dawn again?
