The sky, filled with greys and whites, shaded the land below as the rain from the sky did the same. This wasn't the usual climate the Lucans were accustomed to, but just the same, travelers, tourists, and of course, blitzball players. Players that'd come from all over the world on ships, airships, or whatever form of transportation was available.
One blitzer, not quite sure how she got there, laid sprawled on the 1st dock of 6 Lucan docks. She laid on her left side, so she was facing the Lucan entrance. Her long highlighted blonde braids covered the ground and her face instead of her backside as it usually did. Her strange, bright yellow and lime green outfit was some tint of it's former brightness, due to the ocean's water which dripped from her flattened damp hair, down to the dock ground. She arose, incoherently drifting towards the entrance.
A Lucan guard stopped her in her tracks and she was forced to abruptly break from her drunken stride. Her head whipped back (as well did her body), when she noticed the gun the guard was about to draw ( a large black shotgun). The guard looked at her, and with one glance at the swirled pupils in her emerald green eyes, plainly stated, "we don't allow your kind here in Luca". Confused, her head titled to the left with a scrunched expression; he had completely lost her with that statement. The ocean's waves filled the unanswered silence.
"She's with me", a deep raspy woman's voice arose from over the guards right shoulder. Automatically, the still-dampened blonde stood on the tippy-toes of her right foot, almost flat on the left, leaning to the right to see over the guard's shoulder. The guard, assuming she was trying to get by, slightly moved along with her. The blonde could now only see her soon to be savior's face. A few strands of her light brown/ silver hair whipped in front of her crimson eyes. It'd be assumed she would probably notice, but her blank expression suggested otherwise. She looked straight at the damp bikini topped girl, not losing sight of her face.
The guard turned his head to see the round faced crimson eyed woman the blonde was so intently staring at, while his chest remained facing the girl. He immediately recognized the infamous woman. The guard would have opposed her passing through the Lucan grounds, if it had not been blitzball season. She was known for causing chaos between Yevonites and well, anyone who opposed Yevon. If there was a rule to be broken, or some bit of Spira's history to be found, she went for it.
The guard knew this, and was trying to avoid all possible riots. But- "all who wanted to play in the tournament, shall be allowed to play" (it was a Lucan tradition). With a sigh, he was obligated to step aside. The tall blitzer led the way into the entrance, headed for the large dome in which blitzball was played. The blonde followed her like a wet puppy dog, only able to view the back of the woman's silver colored hair. They were in.
