Sin

It's your fault...

It's your fault...

the words repeated over and over again

coming out from the man's lips

as he watched with a wicked smile

The whip cracked

and lashed on his back

He let out a small cry

The large heavy chains had laid him down

digging through his wrists and ankles

and crushing his bones

Trying to hold a mask upon his face

he grieved and cried under it.

He couldn't resist it.

It's your fault...

It's your fault...

A sharp rod with a tip

hotter than fire

punctured his side

and went through his body

A shrill scream filled the air.

The once pure tears that has once streamed out of his eyes

has turned to the red lust of his blood.

And thus carrying the burden of a heavy collar around his neck

he was to be a dedicated slave...

of that monster...

of this pain...

of his sin...

of his failure...

of her death...

The wicked man nodded his head

The men dropped their swords

their daggers, their weapons

they all ceased of this merriment of torture

And they all left him hanging

to bleed, to suffer... to die

But that was just the prologue of his suffering

And now, he was broken...

for once again in his life, he felt helpless

he cried

he grieved

he sobbed

This was what he deserved

he was hell's creation

And from his cage--

from this cold, shadowy, prison

in which he is chained

He saw a figure

surrounded by pure white light

That had blinded him

for it had been ages since he had seen one

The figure carried none in her hands

no chains

no whips

no swords

no knives

just her bare hands

She indeed was a savior

She walked towards him

embracing him in her arms

comforting the man.

Slowly, he closed his eyes

it felt so warm

it's been so long since he had felt this

it felt familiar

she was familiar

The once pains and wounds all over his body

felt nothing than a mere fantasy

This warmth...

this comfort...

was this a fantasy as well?

He felt her tears stream slowly down his back

"I'm sorry for this..."

she cried.
