It was a Friday and the Titans were sitting on the couch deciding what movie to watch.
"We have this movie. 'War of the Worlds', or 'The Grudge', or 'Jackie Chan'." Said Beast Boy with a grin.
"How about the movie of the purple dinosaur who tries to make kids happy?" Asked Starfire.
"Well, ummm, let's watch…"
Before Robin could finish the alarm sounded.
"Titans trouble!" Robin shouted.
"Why does he always say that when we are right next to him?" Beast Boy whispered to Cyborg. Cyborg started to chuckle as they followed Robin to the screen.
"Its Slade." Robin said narrowing his eyes. "He at the piers."
They got into the T-car. Cyborg climbed into the driver's seat with Raven next to him and Beast Boy and Starfire in the back. Robin followed behind on his R-cycle.
The Titans arrived at the piers. It seemed a little more creepy than usual. There was fog clinging to the ground. The pavement was rather slippery and the sky was filled with black clouds.
Cyborg blew down the warehouse door with his canyon. Slade was standing in the middle of the floor with a little girl who was extremely scared.
"Titans. Now that you are here I will make the deal. You give me Robin; I will give you the little girl. If you refuse then," Slade pulled out a knife and held it on the little girl's throat. "You get what I mean. So, what's it going to be?" Slade asked with a chuckle.
"How bout we get to keep Robin and the little girl!" Yelled Cyborg.
"Titans go!"
"Well if it is going to be like that." Slade slit the crying girl's throat.
"Raven, help her." Ordered Robin.
Raven flew over to the little girl. She said a few words and put her hand over the cut and it healed. Raven put the little girl on Beast Boy's (he is now a horse) back and rode out of the battlefield. Raven then joined the others.
Robin took out his bo-staff and swung at Slade's feet. Slade jumped up and kicked Robin sending him against the wall.
Starfire fired a shot at Slade's head, but Slade ducked and jumped up grabbing Starfire's foot and threw her into Cyborg who was about to shoot Slade square in the back.
"Azerath Metrion Zinthose!" Yelled Raven.
Raven shot black energy at Slade but he easily dodged it. He punched her in the stomach. She fell to her knees gasping for air. Slade stood over her like he defeated her. She took this chance and kicked him in the knees. Slade screamed in agony as he fell on his back. Raven tackled Slade but he put one hand out making it hard for her to reach him. She flew up so she hovered over his body a few feet above.
"Azerath Metrion Zyth..."
Slade picked up Robin's bo-staff that was lying right next to him and hit Raven causing her to fall back to the ground.
Slade jumped on Raven. He pulled out a knife and pointed it at her heart.
"Help someone!" Screamed Raven.
Robin was lying on the concrete when he heard Raven scream. He opened his eyes to see her on her back trying to keep Slade from stabbing her.
"Raven!" Cried Robin.
His knee was badly bruised so it made it hard for him to walk.
The knife was only centimeters from her heart. Robin jumped in and kicked Slade in his stomach. He flew into the pillar. Robin helped Raven up.
"Thanks. I guess." Said Raven blushing but her hood was up so Robin didn't see her. "AAAAAHHHH!"
Raven looked down to see the point of a sharp blade in her stomach.
"Oh my god! Raven!" Screeched Robin.
Raven fell to the ground.
"Sorry Slade that I am late but I had something else to do." Said Terra looking at the blood stained blade she was holding.
"That's fine Terra. Our work here is done." Slade said walking away.
