Underneath the shade of the tree, a blunette sits silent. He was there, unmindful of Ren staring at him from the doorway.
These past few weeks, Ren and Horo had a relationship. As Ren looks at Horo, he thinks of breaking up with him. She never felt his love though he always makes her laugh with his humorous jokes.
Slowly, Ren walked towards the tree to talk to Horo.
"Horo," Ren started to talk nervously but with confidence.
"Hmm?" Horo asked with a low voice.
"I, I want to break up with you. I'm really sorry but your love is … is as cold as ice. I think that we really aren't for each other," Ren said, her head bowed and lowered.
Suddenly, silence followed. Only the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves was to be heard.
Slowly, Horo stood up. He braced his arms around Ren and kissed her at her lips in a touching manner. It went on for almost half a minute and then they stopped.
"Imasen, Ren-san" Horo said to her.
"For not loving me so much?" Ren said as she held Horo's right hand tightly with the same as her right hand too.
"No, for kissing you. I know that you aren't ready yet." Horo replied.
"I was ready. That was what I was waiting for. A kiss is a symbol of love." Ren said with a smiling face.
"Really?" Horo said with an excited voice.
"Yes, it's true. Now, I can feel your love and it's as fiery as flame. Love is not only about your jokes. It is how you show it to the person you love. I really love you, Horo." Ren said as she held both of Horo's hands tightly.
"I love you too, Ren." Horo said.
Then, they hugged each other as a sign of forgiveness. They went back inside the house and ate dinner.
