The Stubborn Two

I do not own the Patriot.Maria is mine.

Colonel Tavington watched as the entire estate went up in flames. Looking around him he saw dead bodies of servants, and two of small children who had tried to save their servants.

"Stop!" someone yelled, The butcher turned his head in the direction of the scream. There was a girl running froma soldier. As she went she picked up stones and threw them at the soldier.

"Haha! Take that liver lips!" she yelled.

Tavington shook his head at the sight of one of his soldiers being slowed down by a little girl. He kicked his horse into a run. The girl saw him coming and tore down the road. Tavington had never seen any girl run that fast in a dress.

"Stop now," he yelled," I have the authority to shoot you."

"Go ahead and try," the girl yelled back. Tavington pulled out his pistol and fired it. She fell.

She was asking for it, Tavington thought. He rode up beside her and dismounted his horse. He leaned over her to check if she was alive. She sure was. In fact, he didn't even hit her. She opened her eyes and aimed a kick at him. Tavington saw where she was aiming and quickly moved away when she struck. She got him in the leg.

"How dare you," Tavington said," I shall have you whipped."

He grabbed her and put her on his horse, then climbed on behind her. She elbowed him in the belly.

"Damn it," he said. He pulled a rope out of the saddle bag, pointed his pistol at her head, and then tie her hands.

"Anymore mischief from you and I will definitely shoot you," Tavington said," And this time I wont miss."

"That'll be the day," the girl said. Tavington squeezed her stomache as hard as he could. She gasped from the pressure.

"That's what I thought," Tavington said," Now be silent, and don't try to escape."

He rode as fast as he could back to the British encampent.
