Lavender likes Seamus, and Seamus doesn't know. What ever will our scheming Lavender come up with to get his attention?
March 17, St. Patrick's Day. You don't wear green, you get pinched.
Or if you're a flirt like me, you find an Irish guy you think is drool-worthy, and give him a peck on the cheek.
And that's what I did.
I walked into the Gryffindor common room, my head held high, confident that I could do this.
Luckily enough, there were a few other year mates; the room wasn't that crowded.
I continue walking, heading over to the warmth of the fire. No matter the time of year, it's always freezing in the castle.
He's sitting in a chair, coincidentally playing a game of wizard's chess with Dean.
I'm by the arm of the chair, slowly kneeling down, my face near his right cheek.
A light peck, is all it takes.
"What was that for," he asked.
I answer, "You're Irish, aren't you?"
I'm still near his face, and he quickly gave me a kiss—
on the lips, no less!
"What's that for," I asked. It came out as a whisper.
"You're not wearing green, and I don't pinch girls I like."
Finite
I know, it's uber short.
And a belated St. Patrick's Day theme……
