Just Another Figment
Time passes, voices fade.
Memories of the friends she'd made.
A heart burdened by despair
In a flash, no longer there.
Years go by, begun with sadness.
Gradually falling into madness.
Vivid images of that day she hated.
Watching as it deteriorated.
One voice returned, appearing behind.
Although convinced it was all in her mind.
Not wanting to see her beliefs being shook.
Just another figment, don't even look.
