Running
Running from enemies, running from friends
Running a race that never ends
Running from the past, tragic and haunting
Gaining acceptance a thing found daunting
Confusion and desperation were the fuel
Leading to a villain most cruel
Coming to him lost and scared
Betraying the ones who truly cared
It came too late for the wounds to be mended
Still and silent, her race has finally ended.
