A/N: I do not own any of the Harry Potter characters. I wish I did cause then I could have so much fun. I LOVE FRED WEASLEY! sorry... just thought I'd get that through to the world.

Enter thorugh the threshold

I strolled down Diagon Alley watching the shops. It was almost empty here but I knew it would be full of parents and grandparents trying to get prsents for their little children back at school or at home with the nanny. My brown hair swished around my shoulders. The bright gold streaks in my hiar though bounced around because they were curly. I wasn't wearing anything normal of the regular witch. I was wearing a knee length satin skirt that was red with golden lace linging the bottom and the top. I had on a white tank top with a red matching jacket for the skirt. I took a step towards Ollivander's and the heel to my high-heeled sadals got stuck in a crack. I pulled at my heel but it wouldn't come undone. I decided that this outfit wasn't working so I charmed myself a new one. The top was a tight red t-shirt that read, "Beating is my life" with a pictue of a beater's bat and a bludger. I had on low-rise hip-hugger jeans that had multi-colored paint splashes all over it. I had on a pair of red and black converse. My hair was up in a ponytail with the curls standing out like a splash of lime green on a black wall. I continued to walk with the glares of women following me into Flourish and Blott's. I walked over to the poetry corner and scanned the books. I was hoping that they would have stocked my newly published book. I had written a book while I had gone through a very hard time in my life. I backed up oblivious to anyone else even being in the store. I turned and ran face first into a tall blonde. He grabbed my shoulders and stared me in the face. He smirked, his blue eye glinted in the fire light of the cande behind us. I stared into them. I lost all train of thought as he led me out of the shop. Once in the street he wrapped his cloak around me.

"Be a good girl and stay quiet now." he cooed in my ear. He led me past rows and rows of shops that I didn't even know existed in Diagon Alley. Suddenly I felt the clock get ripped off me and my arm was being pulled mercilessly after a body. We walked into a shop full of laughter and giggling. I opened my eyes and looked around. The hand let go of me once we were in a flat above the shop. I stared at the pygmy puffs all around me. The body that the hands belonged to sat me in a chiar in the corner.

" 'Ello? you in there?" said the voice. I looked at the body. He had long red hair and freckles painted across his face like cactus in a sandy desert.

"Uh...yeah..." i said shaking my head. Things were becoming much clearer now.

"You were under an Imperius curse." He stated simply.

"WHAT! But he didn't even say anything!" I shouted.

"Malfoy's a master at non-verbal spellcasting."

"Oh..." I looked around, "Where are we?"

"Oh uh were above Weasley's Wizard Wheezez"

"Really?"

"Reall really."

I stood up and sunk back down. My head was pounding. Fred gave me a wet rag to dab at my head. He led me to a bed by a window that looked down into Diagon Alley.

"Here you can lay here while I go close up shop. You can stay here tonight scince George is out of town."

"Uh...thanks." I said laying down.

"I'll be back up in a minute ok?"

"Ok...WAIT!"

'What?"

"What's your name?"

"Fred. Your's?"

"Carmella. Carmen for short."

"Well. I'll be back up in a minute."

"Ok."

I layed and stared out into the darkness of Diagon Alley. The stars twinkled and danced. I rolled over under the blankets. I heard the door open quietly then click shut.

"Goodnight Fred."

"Goodnight Carmen."
