A/N: This was written a while ago. Funny how I knew Reggie's middle name was A. Um...no spoilers seeing as it was written way back when. Please review-Gremlin

Pairings: Sirius/Emmeline Vance

"Are you really leaving?" Regulus Arian Black asked his older brother. He was standing in the door way of his brother's room watching as he packed. It had to be close to three in the morning, but neither of the Black brothers was especially tired.

"Yes, Reg, I'm really leaving," Sirius Orion Black replied. He was sixteen years old with long black hair and steel gray eyes. The stereotypical Black child. Regulus was very much not a Black on the outside. He had long brown hair and sweet blue eyes. But inside he was just like the rest of the family, cold, evil, ambitious, and cowardly.

"Do you have to?" Regulus questioned. The two boys had never really gotten along, not really, but they were brothers. And they loved each other, deep, deep down at the bottom of their hearts.

"Yes, Reg, I have to," Sirius replied. His trunk was packed so he picked it up and began to walk out of the room and down the steps to the Drawing Room. Regulus followed close behind.

"I'm going to miss you," Regulus stated. He didn't say it with feeling, he never was very emotional. He was just stating a fact, it was if he was saying it was dark out.

"I know," Sirius agreed. He was lighting the fire the muggle way, he wasn't of age yet.

"Where are you going?" Regulus continued, he planned on staying until Sirius was gone.

"The Potters'," Sirius said. The fire finally caught and now he was poking the logs.

"Hey, umm...are you still in love with that Vance girl?" Regulus asked. He grabbed the other poker and began to help his brother.

Sirius gave him a small smile and said, "Yeah, yeah I think I am."

"If...if you two ever get married, d'you reckon I could come?" Regulus asked, it took alot of courage for him to ask that. Sirius knew it did.

"Yeah...yeah you can come," Sirius decided. The fire was roaring now.

"Well. I guess you're going now," Regulus said awkwardly.

Sirius stared at his brother and gave him a hug, "I'm going to miss you."

"Me too," Regulus said.

"Reg," Sirius said as he stepped into the flames.

"Yeah?" Regulus asked his brother.

"If any one, any one ever gives you a hard time, you know you can tell me. You know I'd do anything for you," Sirius said. And he meant it, he never was very good at lying.

"You never liked me much," Regulus pointed out.

"No...No I didn't. But I always loved you," Sirius replied. Then he was gone.

Regulus stared at the flames. "I love you too," he said. Then he put the fire out and made his way up the stairs. Tomorrow would be an interesting day.
