Poem 1: Emerald Eyes

Please RxR! Flames are accepted! But after "Stranded" we all know what's going to happen! Yay!

First thing I see when I wake up,

Are telling me something new,

Always thought it was possible,

But now I see I'm falling in love with you.

What surprises me is that we've never hugged,

Only once since I've known you,

I'm not sure what gets you bugged,

Maybe lies or maybe the truth.

When our day is done, I just look at you,

Everything feels like nothing can be broken,

Maybe it's time to try something new,

Take my kiss as a token.

More or less we know what's on our mind

As we watch the clouds pass on by,

Someday I think I might go blind,

Staring into your emerald eyes...
