Chapter Eight: The Candle

Here is Chapter Eight: The Candle. It will feature a song that I made called "The Candle." So, please enjoy! But, this song will not be in the soundtrack list on the Lotus Legends website. "Hey, I see a light in the distance." Kim suddenly said.
Sure enough, there was a dim glow at the end of the hallway.
Teardrops, rainfalls
Endless waterfalls
I'm waiting 'til it stops
Broken, shattered
In a million pieces
'Til the bleeding stops
Now I'm searchin'
For the million stars!
The Lotus Guardians cautiously moved towards the light.
The light
That is drained from the world
Is what I
Am lookin' for
With only the single light
Within my reach
You're my shining light
The candle I see
Suddenly, the light began to get further away from the Lotus Guardians. Kim began to pick up the pace with each step.
Step by step
I pick the pace up a bit
I'm waiting 'til this ends
Many losses
That I'm hoping would stop
'Til the bleeding stops
Now I'm searchin'
For the million stars!
"Kim!" Ron called.
"Slow down, Possible-san!" Yori called.
Kim skidded to a stop, and so did the light. It seemed to flicker.
"What is it?" Kim wondered out loud.
"We'll find out soon enough." Ron answered.
The light
That is drained from the world
Is what I
Am lookin' for
With only the single light
Within my reach
You're my shining light
The candle I see
Suddenly, a trail of fire was following them from behind.
"Run!" Kiara cried.
Fires, flames
Flaring all over the place
You have betrayed me
For the last time
Now, I'm searching
For the direction that will
Lead me outta here
So leave me
To perish in this nightmare
While you run away!
Now I'm runnin' from
As the Lotus Guardians got closer, they saw what was causing the light.
"The Lotus Candle!" Kiara exclaimed.
"Grab it!" Yori cried.
Kim reached out, and grabbed it, as they ran past.

Is what I
Am lookin' for
With only the single light
Within my reach
You're my shining light
The candle I see
The Lotus Guardians held the Lotus Candle carefully, and ran out of the hallway, and into a strange room.
You're the light
That's no longer within my reach...
